I hear these common fitness excuses all too often.
My mom friends say “I don’t have time for fitness right now.”
I cringe. I hate it. I would rather you tell me:
“Lisa, I hate exercising and I just don’t want to do it. Please leave me alone. ”
While I may not agree with that statement, I will respect your honesty.
Please do NOT tell me you don’t have time! Everyone can squeeze out 10-15 minutes a day to do SOMETHING. (seriously, if you are reading this post, you have a least a few minutes right there!)
“I can’t afford it!”
Another excuse I hate to hear. There are millions of FREE workouts out there on the internet. Hell, just put on some good shoes and go for a run or walk around your neighborhood. Anything that gets your body moving is a win in my book.
Some other cost cutting ideas are to find a buddy and split the cost of a trainer or weights. Search yard sale sites or Craigslist, there is always someone selling their old resolutions.
Here is a list of low cost equipment you can use at home
“I don’t know what to do or where to start”
Again, google is your friend. Youtube has plenty of tutorials. Pinterest has free workouts. If you are really stuck, email me.
“My kids are still little”
Yes, so what? So are mine. Use them in your workout! (like these two videos!)
