So many thoughts swirling in my head about the Fat Loss Conference (make sure you follow these and the one topic that really SHOUTED to me was about nutrition.
Here are some main points:
- Eat foods that taste good and are worth it. If you are planning to have a dessert, make it a GREAT one! In other words, don’t eat Chips Ahoy just because you crave something sweet. Eat something you REALLY want instead of settling for what is there. How many times have you found yourself nibbling on something and thought “WHY am I eating this??”. That needs to stop! Eat only the foods that you love.
- Enjoy every single bite and move on. Stick to your choice of “cheats” and enjoy it. Savor it. LOVE it! And then move on and don’t allow yourself to feel guilty at all.
We went out to dinner on Saturday night and I was STARVING!! The waiter brought these biscuits to the table and I immediately thought “eff it! It is SO going down!” I decided to eat that ginormous pile of deliciousness and not worry about it at all. I cannot remember the last time I had a homemade biscuit, so this was TOTALLY worth it. 🙂
It’s ok to throw food away. You do not have to clean your plate nor do you have to clean your child’s plate! How many times have you eaten the last few goldfish on your son’s plate just because they were there. Stop. Go back to #1. If it’s not worth it, DO NOT EAT IT!
