Injuries just plain suck, especially when we don’t really know WHY we are injured. I have a bad habit of pushing through the pain and hoping it just miraculously goes away on it’s own. Yes, we all know how this turns out.
After a fantastic experience with Airrosti last spring for a hamstring strain, I decided to get some relief for my nagging shoulder pain. (Nagging is being kind. It was starting to scream)
What is Airrosti ? Airrosti focuses on accurately diagnosing the root cause of your pain, then fully resolving that pain as quickly as possible—usually within 3 visits. They want to fix the issue, not just send you off with some pills or give you a quick cortisone shot.
The visit itself includes about 30 minutes of soft tissue/joint mobilization through a hands-on approach to improve function and range of motion. (I went to see Dr. Brinkley in Richmond, VA. He is awesome and knows his stuff!) After that, you spend about 30 minutes going over rehab and strengthening exercises. You will also get taped up so your muscles can heal faster.
Critical to recovery is doing your rehab exercises and icing the injured area at least 2x times per day. I usually bring my ice pack in my car and ice my shoulder while I’m driving my kids to and from their activities.
If you have an injury, I highly recommend Airrosti . Yes, the upfront costs are higher than a traditional provider, but look at the graphic below. People spend less on Airrosti treatment then on other forms of treatment.
The fact they want you recovered within 3 visits is critical to anyone who lives a fitness lifestyle. Physical therapy is usually 2x per week for 4-6 weeks. Nobody has time for that!!
Check it out for yourself and let me know what you think. This is not a sponsored post, I paid for my Airrosti treatments and plan to be back to handstands again very soon! 🙂
PS: Fall is a great time to focus on getting in shape again! If you are looking for a online personal training program, I highly the programs offered by Ashley Horner. And here is a link if you are looking for personal trainers in Singapore.
