I had a FANTASTIC time at Fibloggin, even though I missed some of the speakers and the late night activities because I was there with workout baby.
Roni did an amazing job and has more energy than any person that I know!
I got to hang out with so many different people I can’t possibly list them all. I felt like I was really hanging out with true friends, even though many of them I had just met for the first time. (Like Jen, Mo, and Josie.)
I got some awesome swag, including a super comfy shirt from Thriv and great new shoes from New Balance. I connected with LA Boxing and look forward to doing some tough workouts with them. I have a serious baby belly that needs blasting!
We all walked away with a cool new gadget called the Gruve. Never heard of it? Check out my official review over on Workout Mommy Reviews.
I really enjoyed the sessions and felt like there is a ton of information that I need to absorb and implement. I need to learn more about SEO, how to maintain and keep up with the administrative side of blogging, and to reach out and connect more with my readers and fellow bloggers.
All of these things add up to TIME, which is something I am very short on these days. Unfortunately there was no extra time in my Fitbloggin swag bag.
I need to step back and think about where I want this blog to go and how I can get there. (or do I want to get there?) As my kids get older, they are becoming more aware of mommy being on the computer way too much.
I’m also guilty of talking the talk but not walking the walk. In other words, when I am blogging here, I am not exercising. In fact most of the time I am munching away while typing, which has resulted in way too many extra pounds sitting on my hind quarters, also known as blogger’s butt. (yes, I just had a baby but really how long can I use that excuse?)
The conference has given me a lot of food for thought so I’m going to take a blogging break for the next week. I will still need my daily fix of friends though, so please connect with me over on twitter.
In the meantime, do you have any suggestions for how I can get it all done? (exercising, being a mommy, and blogging)? I’d love to hear them!
Have a fit and active week gang!
