The walking lunge is by far one of my favorite exercises to do. Back when I was teaching boot camp classes, we used to start off with 50 walking lunges as our warm-up, so I decided to do this the other morning while I was outside with my oldest. I lunged my way up and down my driveway very proud of myself for fitting fitness into my busy day. I didn’t care that my neighbors think I am weird—I was working out my legs and feeling great! (and they are no doubt jealous of my perfect lunge form, yes?!)
My quads are still sore from the lunges which lets me know that I definitely need to do these more often. Next time, I will add resistance by carrying my youngest in the front carrier while I lunge!

Now get those shoes on and show your neighbors what you’ve got! No excuses!
The walking lunge is a tough one and especially if your knees are not in the best of shape. I am finding that my knees are getting used to it though.
One other thing that is great is to hold that exercise ball above your head when you are walking that lunge.
great suggestion Angela! Thank you!!
