100 push ups!

Thanks to JD over at Get Fit Slowly, I have signed up for the challenge to do 100 push ups. My plan starts Monday which means by the end of July I should be able to do 100 push ups!
I am not sure if it will work but it will be fun to try! Check it out here.

Okay, I am more or less a lurker. Which sucks lol but after reading todays entry I couldn’t not comment! I actually stumbled upon that exact website yesterday! I added it to my things to try and since you’re starting tomorrow, there is no way I can’t join you!

This is awesome! I am so on board. I usually max out at about 20 and have had no clue how to get past that. Can’t wait!

The last year I attempted such a feat, as in doing enough pushups for someone my age to be considered in great shape. Jamie, daughter and personal trainer, gave me a fitness test at the gym. Trying to show her that I was in good shape for my age was not very smart. I couldn’t move my arms the next day. LOL.

100 pushups! Wowza! I’d be happy if I could just do 10. I like the look of the progressive approach, though. I need to redouble my efforts…

Wow. That’s SO impowering! 100 push-ups. It blows my mind! That could be just the strength training goal I need to add some balance to my running training.

100? Seriously? I’m with Briana. Hard to wrap the brain around this concept.
On the other hand, I like the idea of doing a little exercise each day and building up to doing more than I thought I could do. Hmmmn. Must ponder this.
