If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my rss feed. Thanks for visiting!
I am packing up and heading out for a week long trip to the beach! At the top of my list are these 5 items:
- my bike
- 1 set of 10lb dumbbells
- Val Slide
- Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred
- a jump rope
Armed with these five tools, there is no reason why I cannot exercise everyday while on my vacation. I am looking forward to the sand, surf, and SWEAT!
What fitness tools will you bring on your vacation this summer?
Have an ACTIVE week gang and enjoy all the wonderful guest posts I have lined up.

I usually bring my TurboKick videos, a pair of running shoes, but I surrender weight training while on vacation.
Running on vacation (or anywhere for that matter) is particularly fun.

Hi Lisa! I’ve been a lurker for a while, so I thought I’d comment on how much I love your blog!
This weekend, I went camping with my family (it was COLD and sometimes a little snowy). I just brought my running shoes and clothes and voila! Running in the woods. So much fun.

Have so much fun!
I usually forgo strength training except push ups and sit ups because those don’t require anything. I always bring my shoes- love running in a new place. If we have room, I pack my bike because I love mountain biking.

The Bag Lady hasn’t had a vacation in over 14 years, and wouldn’t have a CLUE what she would take! She’d probably be so excited, she’d forget to take underwear, let alone workout stuff!!!
Have a great time at the beach *sob*.

Have a great time! It’s a blast.
I was most successful with the resistance bands and good ol’ crunches and ab work.
And the Water workouts! Have fun with the kids in the pool or beach!

Have a GREAT time!!!!!
We went to Tahoe last December and, can I just say, how much fun is sledding?!?!?!
And it’s a great workout, trucking not only the sled but a suirmy toddler back up the hill over and over again!
