Snacktrition offers a delicious and portable snack

I am always eager to find new snacks that are not only delicious but extremely portable. As a mom, I don’t always get the chance to sit down and have a decent lunch, so having a convenient and healthy snack nearby is important.

I jumped at the chance to try out new snacks from Snacktrition and I was not disappointed! Snacktrition is a new line of great-tasting nut and dried fruit snacks with added calcium and fiber. Depending on the Snacktrition item, you will get 12 percent of your recommended daily fiber needs and approximately 10 percent of your daily calcium needs.

They describe their items as ‘health baked’, meaning they are sprinkled with calcium or fiber, oven baked, and then either dusted with sea salt or mixed with real dried fruits. You can get them in 5 different flavors:

    Sea Salt Cashews with Fiber

    Sea Salt Almonds with Calcium

Salt & Pepper Cashews with Fiber

    Smoked Almonds with Calcium

Fruit & Nut Mix with Fiber and Calcium

My personal favorite is the Sea Salt Almonds with Calcium. I have a bag in my car so that when I am out running errands and hunger strikes, a healthy snack is right there for me. No evil drive-thru lanes are going to tempt me! Thanks Snacktrition, I love it!

Now, have you been active today? No excuses gang, get moving!
