    Tempted by treats? Think ABC!

    Tempted by that bag of cookies in the pantry or the last cupcake leftover from a party?Who's the Outcast/Nonconformist?

    Here’s a tip: eat an apple first.

    If you still want the sweet treat after eating your apple, then go ahead. Chances are you probably won’t but even if you do, you’ll be full of goodness from the apple and less likely to eat as much.

    I call it my ABC theory.

    Apples
    Before
    Crap

      Couldn’t you have posted this earlier yesterday BEFORE I dug out that leftover birthday cupcake from the freezer? I thought by freezing them I wouldn’t be tempted oh but Noooooooo…. COME ON!WHO EATS FROZEN CUPCAKES???? Will definitely go for the apple next time.

      I love the tip! I will definitely have to try that. I love gala apples and they are a pretty satisfying snack… something tells me that the crap just won’t taste as good after a juicy apple!

      I would have titled it ‘Apples Before Chocolate’ but I think your method is better. Just thinking about chocolate would be a distraction. No temptation to let the mind dwell on ‘crap’ :)
