    Move it Monday: Santa style

    santa.jpgIt’s Monday gang, and even Santa wants to you to start moving and be active! To inspire you to fitness, here is my best attempt at being creative:

    ‘Twas the day before Christmas and all through the house
    every creature was being active , even my spouse!
    The running shoes were parked by the door with great care
    in hopes that the weather would break and I could run in the fresh air!

    My children were nestled all snug in their beds
    while visions of Mommy on her spin bike, danced in their heads
    And Mommy in her Nike hat, long ponytail pulled tight
    Lifted weights while they slept, using all of her might

    “Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
    On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
    To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
    Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”

    So dash away all, dash away right now!
    Go and get at least 30 40 minutes of solid cardio today. Get your heart rate up, sweat a lot, and enjoy your energy.

      Very creative. I love it. Unfortunately, I focused on cooking and cleaning all day to get ready for the family to come over. Yep, the Holidays have definitely been a weak one for me!
