Move it Monday: cardio and curls

femalemuscle.jpgIt’s Monday gang, which means it is time to start moving! Move it Monday is a way to get a fresh and active start to our week so let’s get started!

Just like last week, this week we have cardio PLUS a bonus strength training exercise!

I know this is a busy time of the year, but you need to make yourself a priority. Set aside 30 minutes of your day just for you. If you can do more than 30 minutes, that is GREAT!! If not, that is ok too because at least you got 30 minutes worth.
You can do this gang and yes, you are worth it!

Here is the plan for today. Hit the print button now and post it on the fridge.

a.) 20 minutes of good, solid cardio

Get your heart rate up and SWEAT!! No strolling or casual movement here.
Move, move, & move! It’s only 20 minutes—you can do anything for 20 minutes!

    b.) 3 sets of 20 bicep curls

Using either free weights or an exercise tube, do 3 sets of bicep curls with a one minute break in between sets. If you don’t have weights or a tube, you can always use soup cans or heavy water bottles.

Why bicep curls? Because they help strengthen and tone the muscles on the front of our arms.

What is a bicep curl? a very simple exercise to do! It will look like this:

That’s it gang! Put this on the top of your to-do list and feel energized the entire day!
    No excuses!

    Tell me how it goes!
