The Biggest Loser quote–telling you like it is!

Did you catch the show last night?
Julie, from the black team, was telling the audience why she doesn’t want to be sent home. In her explanation she said “people think because I’m a stay-at-home mom I have all the time in the world to exercise, but I really don’t”.
Wow, how many of you can relate to this quote?!! I definitely can! I wish I had the time for a hour workout in the morning, maybe a long walk at lunch, and another hour (or more) workout at night. I wish I had the time to go to the spinning and yoga classes that I used to love so much. I wish I had the time to train for and run another marathon and to qualify for Boston like I have always dreamed of doing.
But the reality is that my job now is that of stay-at-home mom. I take care of two little ones all day long, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I have to be creative with my time and fit in fitness around their schedule, not mine.
It can be done though, and like Julie, we sometimes need that extra push or motivation to make it happen.
So on that note, have you been active today?
Did you fit in at least 20 minutes of fitness?
If not, there is still time!!
Make it happen and get moving.
No excuses!

Wow, a bunch of big weight losses last night eh? Of course politics started to play a part again near the end of the show.
I was disappointed that Kims team did not seem to work as hard as the other teams on vacation and they still won.

Oh I totally hear you. I’ve had to put working out WAY high on my priority list only because I now have WAY too many things to push it out of the way! (they’re cute little things, but still!
