It’s Monday gang, so shake off your weekend and get moving!
Today’s activity is stair climbing!
Stair climbing is a great cardiovascular activity that will burn fat as well as help strengthen and shape your legs and glutes. You don’t have to belong to a gym to get this one done, you probably have a flight (or two!) of stairs right there in your own home. If you are at work, skip the elevator and start taking the steps.
Got your shoes on?
Water ready?
Let’s get moving!
Set a timer for 10 minutes and start climbing. You don’t have to go fast but remember that the faster you move, the more calories you will burn. Just be consistent though and climb up and down for the next 10 minutes.
Once you are done, take note of how you feel.
Is your heart pumping?
Are you sweating?
Ready to do it again? YES!!!
This time just for 5 minutes—-you can do anything for 5 minutes, right?
Set your timer and start climbing. If you can, push yourself a little harder this time.
Once you are done, be sure to let your heart rate come down and then stretch out your legs.
Drink plenty of water and enjoy your Monday!
Great job!

Hi Lisa,
What a great way to start the week! Short bursts of different movement are great for the body. At work or home, most of us have access to steps or hills. Your site looks great, by the way!
