Every morning I make a plant based protein smoothie for my 8 year old. He is a VERY picky eater and this is pretty much the healthiest thing he eats all day long.
Healthy nutrition smoothie recipe:
1 cup baby spinach
1/2 frozen banana
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 scoop of my favorite non-GMO plant based protein. (why plant based vs whey?)
teaspoon of Natural Calm
1/4 ripe avocado
1/4 cup egg whites
He has told me many times that it tastes better than a McDonald’s milkshake!! Not only is it delicious, but it is HEALTHY and NUTRITIOUS for everyone, including me! I make one for myself after my workouts. It refuels my body in the best possible way!
