I lost my dad today. I’ve blogged about him a little bit and while his death was not entirely unexpected, it still stings. A lot.
Even though it’s the circle of life, the death of a loved one, especially a parent…..just plain sucks.
My dad raised eight kids and was always a positive person, something I greatly admired. I have no idea how he did it given the amount of stress he must have been under. He was a great dad who will be missed.
It’s very hard to grieve when you have 4 small needy boys. They don’t give you the chance to sit down and cry, even when that is what you need to do. Despite my pain, they still need my love, attention, and support. Thankfully, I have been able to channel some of that grief with sprints and kettlebells. Never underestimate the power of a workout gang!
