How many times have I said that to myself over the past few weeks?! (a million?)
It goes a long way, it really does. Filling my lungs with air….exhaling….feeling the weight drop from my shoulders…..reminds me yet again that I need to get back to yoga class.
There is something to be said about being able to quiet your mind and simply focus inward. Have you tried it?
Before I had kids, yoga was part of my daily routine which is actually kind of ironic. My life wasn’t very stressful back then!
These days, I need a daily dose of LA yoga, along with a side of Bikram, and then about 3 hours of corpse pose. Is that too much to ask?
How about you gang, what is your favorite type of yoga or yoga pose?

I would love 3 hours of corpse pose! Pigeon pose is my favorite but I can only do it for a few minutes before my legs scream
Pigeon is my favorite too! I also love anything triangle and “happy baby”
On Sunday I decided it was time to reintroduce yoga to my daily life – even ten minutes in the morning is a MUCH BETTER way to start my day. Clear my head, stretch my body, warm my heart (literally and figuratively). Set an intention before I set out on my day. Today is day 3 and I’m kicking myself for ever letting yoga slip from my routine in the first place.

I’ve only done yoga a few times so I can’t say I have a favorite pose. I do know I need to take time each day to quiet my mind and pray. The days that I do that almost always go better than days that I don’t.

I am now a huge fan of Iyengar. It’s done more for my alignment than anything. It may not be as sexy as Power or Vinyasa but, when I get out of bed in the AM, I feel 10 years younger. It’s building that solid foundation of alignment that is so important.
