Name game

by workoutmommy on July 6, 2011

Just for fun, let’s play a game.

You are about to have your 4th baby boy and you need a name.

  • You want this name to not be able to be made into a nickname.
  • You want this name to not end with the letters  -in, -an, -en.
  • You prefer that this name is somewhat uncommon, but not weird.

So, what did you come up with?

iGo Auto Chargers

And if this doesn’t work, I’m currently accepting sponsors for my baby’s name.  Just kidding.  A little.  ;)

If my daughter had been a son, my top choices were Chase, Oliver (could be nicknamed), Aragorn (weird, my husband vetoed), and Clark. Good luck!

I desperately wanted to name one of our boys Atticus but my husband vetoed. Sigh. Is Asher common where you live? I always liked that one too. You’re also welcome to use our third son’s name: Micah. I also liked Enoch and Lief. But maybe those are all too weird? Good luck!

My friend just had a baby Connor! I think that’s a great name. Also like Carter.

I love it! I think my husband had the same requirements, haha. Here’s some from my classroom that I’ve liked over the years…

My dad’s name is Dane, which would have been our boy’s name….if we didn’t only have girls!

My son’s name is Cole – common enough to be in some Pottery Barn Kids catalogs, but not too common. Easy to say and spell, no nick name (although I admit that his sister sometimes calls him “Coley”).
