Spring & Summer!

Spring and summer are always my favorite times of year although this year it seems like we have just skipped over spring and gone straight to summer.  I’m not complaining though, I personally love the heat and humidity.

Here are some of my favorite things about this time of year:

• Running races: although I’m not running any this year, I enjoy the hype and hearing about ones my friends are doing.  (like my new friend Colleen, who is running the Boston Run to Remember)
• Vacations: this year we hit up Disneyworld and will also be going to the beach later this summer.  Although it’s exhausting, it’s a ton of fun memories and I always love making a new photo book with our vacation pictures.
• Summer birthdays: we have 3 summer birthdays in our family and it always seems like it’s easier to plan these parties vs. during the winter months.    I make some cards,  we throw burgers on the grill, and the kids play in the backyard and sprinklers.
• Babies: This summer will be extra special with the arrival of our new baby boy in August.    I plan to send out announcements as I always love the look of a freshly squished newborn face!
