Toss those ice packs, get some Arctic Ease instead!

by workoutmommy on May 9, 2011

Last week we went to Disney World on vacation.  Not the brightest idea for a 6+ month pregnant woman with 3 boys ages 5 and under.   To say we did  A LOT of walking, pushing, carrying, and crying is an understatement.   But alas, we had a ton of fun and memories were made.    (they just better remember them!)

By the end of day one,  my bum foot was THROBBING.  Fortunately, I had remembered to pack my Arctic Ease Cryotherapy Wraps.

Why do I love these?   Let me count the ways….

  1. I no longer have to sit with a pile of ice or frozen peas propped on my foot.   Considering I have 3 small and very needy kids, this never happened anyway.   Arctic Ease is cut to fit, stays in place, and stays cold for hours!   It’s similar to an ACE bandage,  you just wrap and go!
  2. It doesn’t leak.   No more mess from ice bags gone wrong.
  3. It’s reusable! Just add 2 tablespoons of water, seal it up and it will recharge (rehydrate) and be ready to go when you need it.
  4. It’s completely portable.  Throw one in your gym bag or suitcase and you are all set.

I can’t say enough great things about Arctic Ease—it really is an amazing product!   Check out the website for testimonials from others who love it as well.   After a few long days at Disney, I only wish they made a full body version!  :)

Bonus: right now Arctic Ease is on sale with subscribe and save on Amazon!

I’m very excited to be a Brand Ambassador for Arctic Ease at Fitbloggin‘ on May 20-21, 2011.   I will have samples to give you and I am positive that some part of my body will be wrapped in one!   I am a presenter this year  so please come and learn about Kettlebells with me and Jen from Girl Heroes!

Please leave me a comment below and let me know if you will be at Fitbloggin’ this year!

Thank you for the suggestion.. I have had two knee surgeries and also have a bad hip and foot so anything that can work with no stress or mess is awesome..

I have foot issues right now as well. Each child gives me plantar fascitis. This one is the worst. I am due on August 4th. Some ice or ice wraps on my feet would be nice!

What a great idea. I’ll be sure to look for these next time any of my joints are giving me trouble. Thanks for the tip!
