Wow, it was only 18 months ago when I blogged about my (other) Fat Pregnancy.
Since I’m all about over achieving, this time I seem to be going for my HIGHEST WEIGHT EVER!!!! (insert maniacal scream here)
I’m not going to SUGAR coat the truth:
- I’m eating terrible (hellloooo sweet ice cream)
- my workouts are basically non-existent, other than walking
- I’m super stressed over some personal/family issues, which takes me right back to #1.
So what can I do? I just need to let it go. I need to be OK with the fact that right now I am getting bigger and that soon enough I will be able to get back to doing all things fitness that I love.
If I keep repeating this to myself, eventually I will believe it. (right?)
How do you maintain the power of positive thinking?
****big hugs and thanks to Jen for sending me the shirt in the picture above! Bloggy friends are awesome!****

I’m right there with ya on fattest pregnancy thus far. Just trying not to let that get to me and thankful I know that I can get it off once #3 comes this summer.
@Kelly: we are in the homestretch kelly!!! (right?)
I’m a big gainer every time. It’s a mind game for sure. I really just try to enjoy the break, stay moving, eat as well as I can, and remember the great project I’m working on (smiles, eyes, fingers, etc.). And, of course, indulging in regular massages helps too! You look great, I had no idea you are already 26 weeks! More than half way, friend!
@Mandi: i like the way you say that “the project I’m working on”! definitely helps put everything into perspective—thanks Mandi!!
I am also 26 weeks along today with my third child. I am at the same weight gaining pace that I was with my other two, but it’s much harder to move around. I’m with ya with the almost non-existent workouts. I do get downstairs to my basement every morning to workout, but since my plantar fascitis set in, I can’t use the treadmill or elliptical so I’m stuck on my boring bike for cardio. So, I’m staying positive by reminding myself that I’m still putting in the time requirement for my workouts, I’m just not putting in the intensity. I have a feeling when the baby is born, I’ll get my intensity back up but that frequency might be tough with 3 kids.

I absolutely love your positivity and zest for life! I regularly read your blog and have shared it with many of my friends. Thank you for your wonderful contribution!
It’s ok, and expected to gain that weight. You’re tough enough to blast it off once you pop that chil’ out. Cool shirt BTW.

@Todd: thanks Todd!
I can relate to this more than you know. I am 10 weeks postpartum, battling the weight loss from the pregnancy but so happybto be getting back into the swing of it again. You will get back to you soon, i promise. Instead of focusing on what toy aren’t right now focus on the good that you are. Make a list even and find a way to make yourself feel good an healthy every day. Hang in there!

Lisa – You look awesome for having your 4th baby … Enjoy the pregnancy as it will be your last (fingers crossed) and you will miss all things about baby when it’s gone.. Your boys are all beautiful and this baby will be just as precious, you are “cooking” one of the most wonderful things
Congradulations, wow baby # 4 , an indication of a STRONG woman : ), Your attitude and sense of humour will get your pre-baby body back quicker than most. Reducing stress is a big aid in weight loss. Thank you for sharing , love the t-shirt!
