I saw this tweet from Smashfit yesterday:
As we complain, people suffer.
As we gripe, people are in danger.
Keep your life in perspective.
Don’t let small problems shadow the beauty in your every day.
It was an important reminder for me.
I’ve got some personal issues going on and sometimes we just need to step back a bit (or a lot) and remind ourselves about what is important. There are not enough hours in the day so choose your actions wisely.

True! Thanks for the reminder!
Those few simple sentences help to pull things back to reality don’t they? I love the last sentence, our lives are filled with beauty EVERYWHERE…we just have to choose to look for/at it.

Well said- a great reminder! Hang tough, and I hope whatever you are going through eases up soon. Be well. Love your site!
When anyone starts to feel bummed, it’s a good idea to make yourself think of some things you’re grateful for, or even just to say “it could always be worse!”
Piggybacking off what Deb said, when you’re feeling a little off, or a little down, think of three things that you’re thankful for and you’ll start feeling better. Also, great idea to think of things that you have, not what you don’t have.
The little things in life are what count. No matter how bad things may get, the little things always make your day better:)
those are great words
sometimes we just focus so much on the negative that it feels impossible to see how much positive we have. I have a friend who actually will write down all the negative about a situation/person etc. on paper as well as the positive – then she burns the negative! Says it helps her let it go.
People should remember a beautiful lesson long forgotten, appreciation!
