Mommy workout with Lauren Brooks

Here are my workout tools for the day. (kettlebells and Lauren Brooks’ DVD)
Very simple, yet very challenging.

Still not sure if  kettlebells can get you into awesome shape?  Watch this video of Lauren demonstrating the Turkish Get up.   Aside from her amazing strength, I love the fact that her daughter is in the background.   She is definitely one fit mommy!

Very impressive. That’s all I gotta say. As easy as it looks, but I know it’s tough especially being able to maintain a proper form as well. Good work. Keep it up.

Those are HARD, lol!!!!!
I’ve been thinking of buying a light kettlebell (I already have a 15 lb one). Since I hurt my back a few weeks ago, I kinda have to go a little easy, but i LOVE kettlebells!

I just did her 40 min workout today! LOVE it! I was dripping wet at the end and felt like a wet noodle!

I am in awe of her strength. However, when I picture myself doing that movement, I keep seeing me dropping the kettle bell on my head!

Turkish get-ups are my nemesis! Hopefully I’ll be able to complete one or two when my belly is no longer providing a home for my wee babe. :)
