Last week was fun, let’s do it again. If you confess your food sins, there are no calories, right?
I decided it was time to start potty training my middle guy. He will do ANYTHING for M&Ms, so I decided to buy the super size bag from Costco. Apparently the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree because I plowed through most of the bag on my own.
The good news is that I am now fully potty trained.
How about you? What do you have to fess up this week? Leave a comment below!
and no, he’s not potty trained.

ok SERIOUSLY laughed out loud at this Lisa.
thank you for that.
you are welcome!
I have been busting my buns, literally to lose my last 7 lbs. I said I would stay away from carbs after 3pm, no sugar, and only wine for my evening cocktail. Well, at work we had a six year olds birthday in which the parents brought cake and ice cream. Being the administrator, it would have been rude of me to not have a piece and 2 scoops of ice cream, right???
I also need to make it more clear to myself, wine is an advantage at 1-2 glasses….NOT a bottle! It’s Friday and I fessed….are all my calorie sins taken away????

yes! all your sins are gone and the calories too!
LOL – I potty trained myself with M&M’s too
Last week’s sin… Cereal… I had a “healthy snack” of Special K cereal every night before bed last week. (Actually I had some every chance I could get!).

Cheetos. We have those little bags for lunches for the kids. I snagged a couple this week.
Those chips are so bad for me but I love them.

I’m glad I didn’t have any coffee in my mouth when I read that! My confession: PMS cravings = potato chips (small bag), sun chips (small bag), m&ms (small bag), frosting, ice cream cone, too much wine…

I learned with kids #1 that the only thing that happened when I bought M&M’s to potty train my little one, the only thing that happened was that I gained 5 lbs. So, no more M&M’s for potty training ever again! We now use a “grab bag” or “treasure box” (a bit more expensive, but I’m always on the lookout for cheap stuff at garage sales, etc). Now I’m in the middle of potty training kid #3 and as always it is a frustrating process. But at least I’m faaaaarrrr away from the M&M’s
I, too, cannot be trusted.
Trainer Momma, can I send him to your house?
My wife’s starting to push the potty training with our youngest (he’ll be three next month). His latest things is Woody from Toy Story. So this morning I got a voicemail from him (they’re in Pittsburgh for the week) that went something like “Dada, I go potty in toilet. Mama give me Woody.”
Now without the context of Woody being from Toy Story, I’m sure that would raise a few eyebrows!
this cracks me up b/c my sons have the Woody dolls too and they run around screaming “where’s my woody?!!” . (and I giggle b/c I am apparently 12 again!) Anyway, sounds like it’s good news on the potty training front! Hooray!
My food sin is that I am in love with all things fried! Doughnuts 2 times this week… so good! But I’m pregnant, does that give me a reprieve too?
yes! pregnancy gives you 2 free doughnut cards per week.
Enjoy them!
These are AWESOME! (We had a similar “Woody incident a few years ago, lol!)
Well, Hubby started his new full-time job this week (woo-hoo!) so my in-laws have been watching the kids while I’m teaching. A couple of times I kindaaccidentallyonpurpose left dirty dishes in the sink, knowing my M-I-L would wash them!!!!!!
Gulp!
Ok… I seriously don’t get too many good laughs on a friday morning… but YOU made it happen!! Also because I was thinking about Pt’ing our 2 year old using mm’s and I had an internal convo with myself like this:
“Yummy… M&M’s! In the house! Oh.. wait, we remember what happened last time right? YOU ATE THE WHOLE BAG! ALL FIVE OF THEM! Well, guess we’ll be loving on diapers for a bit longer.”
Confession: More of a confession on this weekend which will involve two BBQ’s and I’m sure some brownie.
Lynn–I’m glad to know I’m not alone in the M&M scarfing!
Yes, those diapers don’t seem so bad anymore. (sigh) Have a great weekend!
Sin of the week? Baking a cake just because!! I wanted to use the rest of the homemade frosting I made, so I baked up another cake and have almost devoured all of it! But shhhh dont tell anyone!!

I was using Skittles instead. And after about a week, I too was potty trained.
Still no closer with my son.
Confession for this week was my 1 year old’s birthday cake. After her party we had about 1/2 a cake left, which I proceeded to finished throughout the rest of the week. ugh!
My confession for the week. I had a warm cinnamon doughnut. It just smelled so good. However I dont feel too horrible about it because I got my butt kicked at Body Pump the next day! (Still sore)
I too had used the good ole M&M’s for potty training. It didnt last long, I learned my lesson and switched to stickers. lol.
