Fess up Friday

by workoutmommy on June 25, 2010

They say confession is good for your soul, right?  And maybe if I throw this out on the internet  I won’t actually do it anymore?
This is my (un)healthy living confession for the week:

Before the TransformationI didn’t even bother to bake the cookies, I just ate the cookie dough.
(yes, pretty much all of it.)
Go ahead, judge away.
I deserve it :(

And I wonder WHY I am not losing weight?  (Lonnie, are you reading this?)

So that’s my confession for the week.
How about you?  Throw it out there in the comments and it shall be forgiven!

LOL that’s honest! I use to eat cookie dough. I stopped eating stuff like that when I got to the age where it stuck hard to my body. I told myself everyone gets so much junk food in their life time and I used up my portion.

Lynn, that is great advice that I NEED to start listening to! (because it’s definitely sticking hard to my body and I have no doubt used up my portion as well!) :)

No judgments here!My confession: I’ve been eating at night, after I get home from work. I’ve already had dinner, and I’m not all that hungry. But I do it anyway. *Sigh*

Wow! That’s my toughest time too. At night using food for my “relax” drug was a habit I use to get away with because I exercised so much. No more! I had to write a list of other things that relax me and go do them instead. I love books on tape. I put one on and do deep breathing and relaxing stretches. I allow my self warm milk and tell myself “you’ll be sorry if you eat that girl ain’t worth it” So far so good. This is a great thread. I needed this:)

No judging from me. Just a “yep, been there, done that.” And I am still here, and I am still okay, and so will you :-)

I am a snacking fool! Especially after getting home from work. Something about being away from the office. I don’t know.

Also, I may have had a tear roll down my face when I heard a Michael Jackson song this morning. :(

I do a mean impression of a Hoover vacuum cleaner when left alone with Sour Cream’n'Onion chips. I can (and have on several occasions) eat the family sized bag, single handedly in one sitting in under 30 minutes. I should save my digestive enzymes the trouble and paste the chips right onto my butt.

I’ve been there too! Pasting the chips would definitely save time, but we’d lose out on that crunch! LOL!

I just want to say thank you… because I can actually virtually enjoy your experience without actually going through it myself. Oh the feeling of that cookie dough with my teeth sinking into it and then having it roll across my tongue… and then POP, another one… shoot all 24 of them (or close to it). Oh the feeling…of the first one and how delicious it is… oh the feeling of the last one and how SAD I feel that it’s the last and SAD that I ate all of them… and SAD that it will take me a week to get it all off. And SAD that I’m actually sick from eating it all and can’t eat anything else all day long.

Oh thank you… because now I don’t want to eat one. You have saved me and I thank you…. !!

Lynn, I’m glad I could save you from that sick feeling because you are right, that is exactly what happens after eating all that dough. Next time I can hopefully save myself! :)

I’ve had a chocolate chip/cream cheese muffin and lattes with 6 sugars to chase it down; and haven’t considered exercise. I am so not happy with myself.

I took the day off exercise today and chose to sleep in. I had my fav lunch in place of my usual salad – peanut butter and jelly with wavy lays and 3 chips ahoy cookies – yeah, today was a major cheat day all around…

My confession for the week is I ate a crispy chicken sandwich & small FF from a fast food favorite of mine. i was running errands, and trying to prepare for a family vacation. I let myself get so hungry that I was nauseaus and I’ve been drowning in a sea of guilt ever since. I am stressed & PMS! Any suggestions on how to pull myself out of this funk before tomorrow morning? LOL :)

My downfall is company. When other people come over I lose all control including appetizers (usually cheese and crackers) and dessert!

Yep, cookie dough has always been a big weakness for me. I can turn down a cookie more often than the dough! Even the baked cookies have to be doughy for me. So I encourage my kids to make all the cookies they want when I am not around and bake them to a crispy level so I can resist them! Doesn’t always happen though.

I don’t frost cakes (or even bake them.) I just buy the frosting and eat it off a spoon. I do try to limit myself to a few spoonfuls at a time, but, still… not good…

I do great during the week and fail miserably on the weekend. Totally wrecks all my hard work. I don’t know why I keep doing it. My own fault.

I’ve had a rough week! Sunday was cookies (6 of them) Monday was cookies (5 of them) Teusday was cookies (7 of them… are we seeing a trend here?) Then Wed. was ice cream, Thursday was DQ Blizzard, Friday more cookies (only 3 this time :) and then Sat. was leftover cookes and a chocolate creamy. So yeah…. I won’t even say a word!

I’ve done that so many times. Cookie dough used to be my nemesis. I don’t know if I have any confessions this week unless you count the popcorn I popped in coconut oil every day. ;-)

I enjoyed finding your site and perusing. This one is perfect for me right now. Hubby just tempted me into a piece of cheesecake, 11pm in bed with cheesecake! I am not normally a sweets person, salt is my weakness, but sometimes when its in the house… oooh and last week I bought cookie dough ice cream expecting to share it with hubby, but i think he only had one bowl the entire time, and when it got down to the last bowl or two i just went thru and found all the cookie dough and choc chips… well, my secret’s out. We can’t be perfect, right?!
