With just under a month left on my LA Boxing program, I am happy to report that:
- I am MUCH stronger. I can do a ton of push ups and crunches.
- My stress level has gone down considerably. Hitting and kicking a giant bag does wonders for your sanity. Try it sometime, you will be pleasantly surprised!
- I love a challenging workout and LA Boxing delivers exactly that. No class is the same. You will not be bored and you will leave sweaty and exhausted!
- I love training with a personal trainer. It is worth every single penny to get an awesome workout without having to THINK!

I too love my punching bag. I think my husband thought I was crazy when I was pregnant (10 yrs ago) because all I kept asking for as a gift for Christmas was a 100lb punching bag. I can see why he thought I was crazy, our son was due on Christmas day and all I’m thinking about is this silly bag.
Well Nate came 6 days early and I was instructed to rest for at least 7 days….so what did I do the day after Christmas? Beat the crap out of my bag! And as you know…IT FELT SO GOOD! I would have to say with the exception of my Precor Elliptical the bag is the mostly used workout item I have. So ladies, if you’re thinking about it-invest the few hundred dollars get a good heavy bag and stand. Your stress levels will thank you!

The only kind of boxing I’ve done is kickboxing (without a bag), and it was awesome. Doing an intense workout is such a fantastic stress-reliever!
Sounds awesome!!!! I just recently dug out some of my aerobic boxing workout DVDs with Michael Olajide. So much fun! I may have to ask Hubby to hang the heavy bag soon, lol!
We have a bag in our garage. I’m siked reading this post so after I get off from work, you’ll know where to find me

Sounds like you got awesome results.
I have a bag (a cheesy one but it hey it works) in my garage too. I love doing treadmill and punching/kicking intervals with it. Makes me feel bad azz even though I’m sort of a wuss at heart.

Boxing sounds awesome! I used to do Muay Thai, but it got expensive so I stopped. But boxing looks like a great stress relieving workout. I’d love to work with a personal trainer one of these days too.
