Training the trainer

by workoutmommy on March 22, 2010

Even a personal trainer needs to have a personal trainer! Here is a video clip of my trainer punishing working with me.  (thankfully he added music to this clip or else you would hear me whining!)

Why do I need a trainer if I am one?  Because I need that time scheduled out just for me.  I need someone else to do the thinking so that I can get a tough workout.  And I need ZERO distractions.  He does not let me check my iPhone or tweet or respond to emails.

He keeps me on task and makes me work hard, which is exactly what I need.   :)

Everybody needs a pusher and motivator. He really kicked your trashed. Or, if it had been mine I would have been on the floor!

Sorry I didn’t introduce myself. I couldn’t get a mask made out of my avatar. No, really. And, it was really hard tumbling out my whole jumble of a “name” all the time.

Okay, so I just suck. But, FitBloggin was a lot of fun and I really admired you for bringing workout baby!

Personal trainers are so worth the investment. I regularly get my walks in but when it comes to strength training, I need a push. And personal trainers are so good at doing that!

Wonderful to meet you and your baby boy at FitBloggin’!

Wow!!!

I just got back in touch with my Pilates instructor, even though I teach Pilates 5 times a week. I need that kick in the pants! (Plus she’s AMAZING!)

You go, Lisa! Love the little plyo lunge leg switch in there – tee hee hee. You’re going to have Beyonce’s booty in no time.

Wow. That looks like one TOUGH workout. So proud of you.

How often do you go to a personal trainer and, if you don’t mind me asking, how much does it cost?

So true! I wish I had the time for a personal trainer. Right now I’m leading a free bootcamp in my neighborhood for women. And while I love doing it for the other women- I do it mostly for me! That’s the only way I’ll get up and workout that early. ;)

Wonderful website! Your trainer should correct your form. You were using to much back and momentum during your hammer curls. Lower the weight and don’t sacrifice form.
