I wish I could give it all up and not need it.
I’ve tried and failed a zillion times.
I’m an addict, I fully admit it.
Diet Pepsi. Why can’t I quit you?
Now that Pepsi has introduced their Throwback products that are made with real sugar instead of High Fructose Corn Syrup, which do you think is the better* choice?
Here are the ingredients:
Diet Pepsi: carbonated water, caramel color, aspartame, phosphoric acid, potassium benzoate, caffeine, citric acid, natural flavor, phenylketonurics.
Pepsi Throwback: Carbonated water, sugar, caramel color, phosphoric acid, caffeine, natural flavor.
Thoughts?
*I know, neither! Water is a much better choice but if you HAD to choose one, which would it be?
Maybe Pepsi addiction should be treated at one of those luxury Florida drug rehabilitation facilities.

I’d go with the Throwback because I can’t pronounce some of the things in the diet, tee hee
And aspertame = yucky!

As we all know, they are both evil. But given the choice, I would go with the throwback for the simple reason that I’m aware that it has calories. Therefore, I would be less likely to consume it in excess. Everything in moderation, right?
MOMMY MERLOT, err, diet mt dew please.
Aspartame makes me ill. Personally, I try to eat things made from real ingredents. I would prefer a soda made simple than one with so many man made chemicals.
Thank goodness I kicked the Diet Coke habit I had years ago. But after a long run, I sometimes need a jolt of the real thing. So I’d have to go Throwback.
I would still go with Diet, only because I know how quickly the other would add the pounds back on to me.,

When I can’t talk myself into iced tea, it will be the Diet Pepsi. It’s not the calories per se that are the problem; it’s that if I start with the sugar, I will want to keep going with sugar.
I would most likely stick with diet. Anymore the regular are too sweet for me. That said the throwback might not taste as sweet as “modern” Pepsi. I will just try to avoid it all

I would go with Diet Coke. Pepsi is too sweet. But to each his (or her) own.
