After I put the kiddos to bed, I will get on a treadmill.
As far as induce, I let nature takes its course. However, if you are dilated over 4 cm and your Dr. thinks it is time. I remember scheduling induction for Sunday on a Thursday, and going that night after a cm check. Sometimes that makes the process start. Spicy foods, “relations”, walks make things happen too. Will be thinking of you.

Well you know what I did:) And no, I’m not running for you. I’m still walking funny, lol! Sending speedy delivery thoughts your way (so you won’t have to make the decision!)!!

That can only be answered by you.
I was induced with every single one of my 7 kids. All of them were past my due dates though, except my sixth who was induced a couple of days before due to my high blood pressure.
Good luck!

I was induced with my second, and actually had a mostly pleasant experience! But it IS a personal decision. If your cupping your pregnant tummy in your hands and yelling “Get out, already!” that might be a sign that want to induce, lol!

Tough call! My 1st was born premature so I learned that babies need to be in there as long as possible… But I can totally understand how uncomfy things are because my 2 nd was born full term. Good luck with everything!

That is such a tough question. It really depends on how far along you are etc. With my first, I was strongly opposed to induction. So many of my friends had been induced only to end up with c-sections. When my water broke, they put me on pitocin anyway and I pushed for three hours. I was close to a c-section.
For my second, I was still against induction. I felt that it might result in a similar three-hour pushing session, which was the hardest thing I ever did. My doctor reassured me that delivery of this second baby would be easier. My dr was afraid that baby #2 would be bigger than my son (who was 9.5 lbs) and encouraged induction. I was already dilated 4 cm. I caved. The induction was easy peasy! I pushed for 4 minutes!
Sorry for the rambling. Honestly, you need to have a heart to heart with your OB and discuss your expectations.
Good luck!!!!

I had to be induced with all three…. but I fought it every step of the way. My last one was 9 days late!!! I hated being induced. It seemed so unnatural to me. I’d wait. See if your body will do what it’s supposed to.

I had a c-section, but I know a lot of people induce to make sure there doctor is there. Sometimes you could go into labor and end up with the on-call doctor….
I think it’s a personal thing….

Induced with all four…but I went about a week past my due date with all four, too.
If I could’ve avoided it, I probably would have. It does increase risk. But I think not AS much with subsequent children.
That said, if I had to do it all over again, I’d choose induction any day over waiting any longer past my due date!

I was induced with my first (and only thus far) and it was great. I didn’t have any meds to induce labor, the doctor just ‘broke my water.’ But my water had actually broken a few days prior and I was past 4 cm and 90%. I know not all inductions go this well, but I had my baby within a few hours and it was a piece of cake for me. Good luck! I may induce with this one because I’m afraid of giving birth on the side of the highway. I don’t think I would’ve known I was in labor with #1, had I been at home.

We induced because the baby was under distress. I gave birth in less than 9 hours after and I highly recommend it. LOL! I got it over with so quickly…no 20 hours of labor for me.

I chose to be induced 2 weeks early. I have absolutely no threshhold for pain and I was most certainly done being pregnant…I could hardly move from my aches at night. The doctor gave me the go ahead and once I got past the guilt other poeple tried to lay on me, it was the right decision for me.
