I forgot to say how I do it all.

Um...I don't. ;)

I do have some pretty incredible "secret weapons" though: my heroic husband, my super sweet mother-in-law, etc.

Oh, and I would totally come help fold your laundry if I were in your neck of the woods. That's what friends are for, right?

Happy Blogiversary to you! Happy Blogiversary to you! Happy Blogiversary to Lisa! Happy Blogiversary to YOU!!!

I am so happy that you started this blog 2 years ago...and that I met you at BlogHer 2008. You are sweet and smart and positively charming.

And, of course we will all understand if you have to take some time off shortly before or after baby #3 arrives. In fact, we might think you were a tad bit inhuman if you didn't. ;)

I look forward to "meeting" baby #3 after his/her arrival (the gender is a surprise, right?).

Your friend,
Stephanie

It is SO hard with 3 kids! Mine are 5,3 and 2. Thankfully, that means they are old enough to help with some things, and love it at the same time! =) However, many days go by with clean laundry still in the dryer or hamper, clean dishes in the dishwasher while dirty ones are piling on the counter, etc. I do what I can during the week after homeschooling, grocery shopping, etc, but save most of it for the weekends. Thankfully DH is helpful too. But I think as a mother to young children, we need to realize there just WILL NOT be enough time in any day to accomplish everything, and we need to be OK with that! It's a stage in our life that will all too quickly pass, and we need to spend as much time enjoying our kids as we can!

I just had our third son - 4 weeks ago. Everything does not get done anymore. Some older moms told me to give myself grace to be ok with everything not getting done. So, that is what I am trying to do. I do look forward to getting back into the gym soon so that I feel better about myself and get some energy back.

I just had #3 last December and I must say....3 is busy!! Menu planning and sticking to my to-do lists seem to be my best strategy. Unfortunately our house is on the market now so I can't let housekeeping slide. I could use a Starbucks to get me through some of these days!!

Hi,

I don't get everything done in a day - I work full time and my hubby travels for work. My lunch breaks are used to exercise or buy groceries and I often go to bed with a messy kitchen. After dealing with his travelling I've learned ot to sweat the small stuff and that sleep is far more important.

Happy blog anniversary!

How do I do it? I DON'T, mostly. Ha! I make a list at the beginning of the week, and I feel incredibly happy when I accomplish one thing each day. At the end of the day, when I frequently feel down for lack of accomplishments, I think seriously about what I DID do, and give myself some credit. Some days, it's just "focused on play with J" and that's a good thing too.

I think we don't give ourselves enough slack. Sometimes I have to remind myself that J is not going to remember that laundry wasn't done or dust bunnies were floating around. She's going to remember my interactions with her.

Congrats on 2 years, and thanks for the chance to enter the giveaway!

I am a huge believer in lists. For awhile, I tried all sorts of different task management and list-making web applications. However, I have found that a good old-fashioned hand-written list works best for me.
Thanks!

Hi, Congratulations on your two years of blogging and on the upcoming birth of your
third child! I have to do my activities according to the day of the week! I make a
Monday-Sunday list weekly and hope that I am
able to finish the items per day! Yes, life happens and that is okay with me. First and foremost, comes my family! Child rearing only
takes up 1/4 of our life's pie. Please enter me in your Starbucks drawing. Our town has a new one about 5 minutes away from our home!
Many thanks, Cindi
