I want to meet this woman and give her a giant hug! (and throw her a party!)
Ida Van Parys is 102 years old. Every morning before breakfast she spends 15 minutes on a Body By Jake Cardio Cruiser. She also walks four laps around the kitchen island in her condo. (she estimates the laps add up to about 20 minutes a day.)
Her philosophy?
“If I didn’t do the exercises every day, I wouldn’t still be on my feet. I’d be stuck in a chair all the time. It keeps me going.”
Ida, you are definitely one smart and fit woman!
So get up and get moving today gang, NO EXCUSES!

That’s very cool. My grandmother is the same way…she bikes around her home every morning…she also keeps her mind young by socializing with friends as often as possible. She’s 87.

What an inspiration! Sometimes I feel like “I’m too old to start…..(insert new atheletic adventure” and yet, I’m only 37, this is the type of story I needed to read to put some perspective in my thinking!
I wish my MIL were like that. Maybe she wouldn’t be in a wheelchair now recovering from a broken hip. That woman does not take care of herself at all.
