My kids love to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, do yours?
Now they can combine their love of Mickey with learning and EXERCISE thanks to Mickey’s Mouse-ke-TAG from Disney and Wild Planet.
When I first saw this toy at Blogher I knew immediately we needed one in our house. Not only do my kids love it because it is fun, but it also combines learning with running!
Any toy that helps wear out two little boys while they are learning is a winner in my book! (it says for ages 3+ but my 2 year old has no problem using it too)
Here is how it works:
“The game’s electronic hand-held tagger is shaped like the clubhouse from the popular Mickey Mouse Clubhouse TV series. From a speaker inside the clubhouse, Goofy calls out descriptions of different targets; each target looks like a familiar Disney character. Kids listen for the call-outs and then run to tag the corresponding targets.”
The game can be played inside or out and you decide how far apart to place the characters. The further away, the more exercise for either you or your kids.
In addition to exercise, it also gives kids a mental workout too.
“As the game progresses, the call-outs become more challenging. In early levels, Goofy calls out names (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck or Goofy), and sometimes the first letter of a name (D is for Donald). Once kids master names and letters, the game adds in colors and catch phrases (Who has a pink bow? Who says “Golly”?). The audio clues are given in the corresponding character’s voice, and upbeat music keeps kids energized and engaged.”
This is a very fun game that you can play with the whole family! Even my husband enjoys playing the game, although he has yet to beat my time.
The toy is very durable and has gotten a lot of use in our house, especially on rainy days. Here is a short video clip of us playing it on the stairs:
Put this one on your birthday or holiday list!

Disclosure: I received a Mickey’s Mouse-ke-TAG at no charge to review, however I am under no obligation to do so nor to make the review positive. This review reflects my personal opinion about this game. It really is a big hit in our house and we love it!

Love it. I’m totally getting this for the girls. Thanks for doing the review.
That seems like great fun and a way to get the kiddies off the couch, even for a short time. I wonder though if it gets old too quick.

That sounds really cute!!! I’ll add that to my list of things to check out for Christmas.
As parents we are always looking for new toys for our children that are both mentally and physically stimulating. I think this toy is very interesting and would definitely consider buying it to see the benefits it may have to offer. Children need consistent stimulation and play is a huge part of their lives. Developing a toy that causes them to use their mental skills as well as their physical is a perfect combination.
OMG, he is soooooooo cute!!!
