Looking for a cure for your cellulite? Unfortunately, there is none!
It isn’t fair, but cellulite is just a fact of life for most women. Doctors believe that’s because estrogen plays a big role in cellulite formation: excess estrogen causes a weakening of connective tissue, which allows fat to bulge up under the skin, creating cellulite.
According to Dr. Howard Brooks, a professor at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and the director of Skin Cosmetic Dermatology of Georgetown:
“Whether they’re thin or heavy, a gym rat or a couch potato, cellulite is one of those things most women face. It doesn’t matter if that woman is black, white, Asian; it doesn’t matter if that woman eats right, does everything right — cellulite can still develop.”
Lucky us, right?
Please do not waste your money on all those expensive creams and treatments because they just do NOT work! Even liposuction cannot get rid of cellulite. The American Academy of Dermatology warns that liposuction can actually make the appearance of cellulite worse by physically breaking down the connective tissue, which creates even more depressions in the skin.
You can reduce your risk of cellulite by following a few simple rules:
- Quit smoking: Lighting up damages connective tissue, which causes wrinkling.
- Exercise your legs and buttocks. Cellulite is still there, but exercise can firm up the skin and decreases the appearance.
- Eat smart. There is no specific food that plays a major role in cellulite, but a healthy diet overall can minimize the appearance.
So skip the creams and treatments and spend your money somewhere else. (treadmill, gym membership?)
Now, have you moved your legs today? Get up and get moving gang!

I agree – those spot solutions are bogus.
You’ve got to watch what you eat and move.
I cant believe people actually take in the claims of the people who sell these creams etc,and spend vast ammounts of money on them.

I liked this post and found it incredibly ironic that the Google Ad under this post was for a product that claims to reduce cellulite by 47%!
Thanks for even more inspiration to keep moving!

cellulite cream works too for some people..but of course you still need to do some exercise to accelerate the effect.
still the best and cheapest solution is by exercise, just do some light exercise everyday like jogging and it will prevent cellulite in your body..

If only applying some cream and our cellulite would magically disappear was true:)unfortuantly the only thing that will work is exercise like the above comment says.
