Your go-to exercise

by workoutmommy on June 23, 2009

If you only had 15 minutes for a workout, what would be your go-to exercise?

For me? Jump squats with some walking lunges.
For my husband? Sitting on the couch watching TV.

How about you? :)

If I were already at the gym, weights (arms and legs).

If I were at home, a book or the TV.

15 minutes would be abs and lunging/squats. Maybe some push ups thrown in for good measure.

Running/dancing + abs exercises (not enough time for a decent walk :D ).

15 minutes? A fast walk, or pushups and squats, most likely though a thorough foam roller stretch.

Pamela-i love this comment because it wasn’t too long ago that you told me you hate running, right? :)

Sagan–dancing is a great one! Your music choices are probably much better than mine though! (toddlers=Wiggles)

Circuits: I love getting high intensity work outs in short amounts of time. Jump rope, football hurdles, up/downs, leg press on bench, up and overs, etc

Jump-rope, squats, lunges, push-ups and planks!

And, I’m so late … I was scrolling through my reader and saw that you’re pregnant again! Congrats!

I’d do a combo of “push-up to side-planks”, alternating sets with squats or lunges. And maybe a sun salutation or two.

easy, if I had weights it’ll be a 1 Arm Snatch with a kettlebell otherwise just bodyweight would have to be Up Downs and Decline Push Ups combo
