My 3.5 year old looked at me today and said “Mommy, what’s in your tummy? Why are you getting fat?”
Since I have not yet told him that he will be dethroned once again, he went on to say that maybe I have been eating too much junk food.
“Mommy, you need to eat more broccoli!”

Ok, kid, broccoli it is!
The funniest (or maybe saddest) part of this story? He wasn’t looking (or touching) my stomach at all.
He was concerned by how large my chest has become!
Ahhhh, the joys of motherhood and pregnancy!
I hope you are staying active gang! Get up and get moving RIGHT NOW! ![]()

Well, damn! I guess I need to go defrost the broccoli in the fridge. The kids isn’t that far off…I mean, broccoli is high in fiber which will help to use the bathroom more often which can help you lose weight. Right? LOL~
kids are so perceptive. Mine were the same–asking me if I had a baby in my tummy VERY early on–so early that I should have been insulted! And now that the baby is out, I AM eating lots of broccoli!!
