After 5 straight days of rain last month, we could not take it anymore. We all needed some fresh air, even if it meant getting drenched.

The boys certainly did not care  (note: it was a warm rain, there were no blue lips!)  and I needed my daily dose of driveway lunges.

So here I am, lunging away while the kids are playing. img_2164

Don’t let the elements keep YOU  from being active!  Get up and get moving gang!

Good for you, a little rain never killed anyone. As long as it’s warm rain I’m all for exercising in it. But I love rain in general, and if you’re not using it please send it our way. Those of us in L.A. are drying up.

Great picture! Getting outside and getting some outdoor exercise always makes me feel better, no matter what the weather is like… Plus, I just have to get the toddler outside before he completely destroys the house… :)

Weather is 1 of the top excuses people use for skipping their workout regimes. Keep up the great work!

    About Me

In my life before kids, I was a personal fitness trainer and self proclaimed fitness junkie. I loved the 5am workouts and evening strength training sessions. Now that I'm a mom, my life is filled with 5am feedings and piles of laundry. I've let my fitness slip and this blog will hopefully provide motivation to help myself (and YOU!) get back in shape. I want to be fit, be healthy, and be happy! No more excuses....it's time to workout mommy!
