Help support the March of Dimes this Mother’s Day

by workoutmommy on May 6, 2009

I recently became a “Mom Ambassador” for the March of Dimes, the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. With chapters nationwide and its premier event, March for Babies®, the March of Dimes works to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.

As a thank you for joining them, they sent me a necklacebeautiful necklace from Red Envelope—one with a pendant rendered from a single, unending loop of sterling silver. The Red Envelope description says it’s meant to be a unique interpretation of mother and child caught in an eternal embrace.

This will be my first Mother’s Day without my mother and I know that she will always be wrapped around me in an eternal embrace.   A mother’s love is like no other, and if you are lucky enough to still have your mom in your life, please reach out to her now to let her know how much you love her.

Red Envelope is donating 10% of the proceeds for every sale of the Mother’s Love Necklace to the March of Dimes.

If you are sending flowers to your mom on this Mother’s Day, please consider ordering through Proflowers.com.    They will also be donating $10 of every order to support March of Dimes and its programs in communities throughout the United States.

If possible, please consider helping out a great organization.

Again, I’m so sorry about your mom, Lisa! Beautiful necklace tho and great cause. It’s a little steep for my budget but I do love the idea!

Great cause girl. I’m here for you as always…I know this won’t be an easy Mother’s day for you, but YOU are a great mother, so try to celebrate a little if you can.

Jamie :)
