Motivation

New workJust curious, what does it take to get YOU moving?

I *know* that I am going to feel much better after a workout, so on days when I am dragging my feet, I just keep repeating to myself:

I can and WILL do this!

I commit to only 10 minutes and 99% of the time I keep on going because I feel great.  It clears my mind, gives me energy and makes me happy.

Never underestimate the power of a workout gang.
Get up.
Get moving.
Feel GREAT!  :)

Ok, I’m gonna be honest here and just say that I really like to work out. It doesn’t feel like a chore, so I don’t really have to motivate myself. (Housework? now THAT I have to force myself to do, lol! In fact, working out is a GREAT excuse NOT to clean!)
Back when I was doing workouts I didn’t enjoy I would drag myself to the gym and “get it over with.” But now I just do the things I love, and that helps a lot.

I find that if I just set the timer for 10 or 15 minutes, chances are I’ll keep doing what I’m doing (working out, housework, etc)..thanks for the nudge — I need to keep at it!

I love to workout and sweat, so it doesn’t take much. Housework- I set the timer for 15 minutes and go go go. Usually I get in a groove and keep going. I am sure the same would work for exercising!

Im usually pretty thankful that I workout at 5a or my time is “lost” for the day—-really makes me tend to choose YES when I know there is no later…

I enjoy working out. Although lately I feel as if I need to change my routine. I am so glad it is getting warmer outside now. I am excited to start hiking and kayaking.

Working out makes it much easier to do the things I don’t like to do, because well I’m already up, I might as well get it done :)

I just know that if I want to keep losing weight and be healthy for my kids, it’s something I have to do.

That is my number to! If I hate my working after 10 minutes I can stop but normally at that point I am loving it so I keep going.
