Finally the warm weather has arrived and I can take my workouts back outside! I’ve backed off on the running a bit and have taken up biking instead. My foot was starting to bother me again and I do not want to risk having another surgery.
I have a bike helmet, but I never wear it because it always slips forward when I am riding. I was convinced it was because of my head shape until I got the chance to try out a Bell True Fit Helmet. Wow–what a difference! There is no slippage at all and it is a safe and secure fit throughout my ride! Most helmets have 3-4 straps to set and adjust; a Bell True Fit helmet has just a one-step adjustment and you are set and ready to go.
According to Safe Kids Worldwide, more than 1/3 of kids wear their helmet incorrectly. I know my son does–it slips so far down on his face that he can’t even see! (fortunately, we don’t leave our driveway.)
How is the Bell True Fit helmet different? Watch this quick video clip:
The Bell True Fit helmet line is exactly that. A true fit that is comfortable, easy, and safe!
You can buy a Bell True Fit helmet at these locations or you can WIN one here! Leave a comment below telling me which Bell helmet you would get for your child (or yourself!) if you win. The contest will close at 9pm EST on Friday, May 8th. The winner will be chosen at random and must provide a US mailing address.

I would get the Zoomer one for my son, the one with the frog on it. Thanks!
My daughter would love the pink Racer with the owl! We have trouble finding helmets that fit her head, so this is great to know about. Thanks!
Toddler Beamer!
This is so great to learn about these new helmets. We had looked for helmets a few months ago, for my son, and had heard briefly of this new helmet but could not find it at that time- perhaps it was not out yet. We did not have luck finding a helmet with a proper fit so decided to wait. Now his current helmet is too tight. Assuming he will fit the child’s size, only based on age, he likes the Rex with the green spider. I wish that the Bell website listed the inch range of head sizes each one fit- this is usually on the packaging. His head size is kind of on the big side!
Thanks for sharing this info.
Very cool. So true the helmets are hard to fit. We’ve always used Giro helmets and they don’t slip around. My youngest uses a Bell and he likes it. Thinking most people need to be educated on how to properly wear a helmet.

Either of my boys would die for the Rex with the green spider-so cool! Dying to try out these helmets after the demo!
I also love these helmets. A good, true fit is one of the most important aspects of bike safety. Many people wear their helmets too loose because they are uncomfortable being worn the right way–this is completely the opposite with the new Bell.

I would get my son the zoomer with frogs on it or the bellino with monkeys. Those look great!
I love these helmets! Not only are the designs appropriate for boys and girls of different ages (oh and grownups too!), but they will fit the wearer, stay on, and protect noggins! Yay!
My daughter loves the Toddler Bellino with the fairies and flowers!
I would get the Purple Rex model with the rose on it for my daughter. Thank you for the information, they look comfortable.
I’d get an Adrenalin in white for myself.
I love the Rex flame helmet.
Fitarella-congrats, you are the winner! Please email me your mailing address and which helmet/size you would like. Thanks!
