Thank you again for all the kind comments and emails. I appreciate them all and I’m sorry that I have not been able to respond personally to each of you. I’m amazed (and saddened) by how many of our lives have been affected by cancer. A close friend left this comment for me on Facebook:

“In time, you’ll enjoy life again. Give yourself five or six years. Until then, you’ll have to fake it.”

It made me laugh because it is so true. If you have ever experienced the death of a close family member, you can probably also relate to this statement. (thanks Bob!)

Again, I’m so sorry for your loss.

Fortunately, it sounds like you have lots of encouraging, honest people in your life and that’s awesome!

It’s been 5 1/2 weeks since I’ve had my baby now and I’d like to start running again…hopefully before the weather heats up too much. Thanks for the reminder to get active!
