Super video. My list includes having a bubble bath, reading a novel, pampering myself just with putting on make up, dancing around the room to great music, and playing with my cat. Cleaning and blog-reading is also high up there :)

I find yoga works the best for me as well. The mind and body are connected. In this case, Yoga can calm your body, which then calms your mind.

Wow! This is just what I need. I have started using the Weight Watcher plan. Of course, it was a new year goal. I am almost 2 months in and I'm finding myself going back to old habits-sweets. I need to make a list of things to do to get through those weak emotional moments when I want to eat to make myself feel better. Here's a few:
-sit alone in a quiet spot and focus on my breathing
-a few yoga poses-plank seems to be what helps me to center myself
-taking the kids for a walk
-read through a few new blog posts on fitness, like this one, I just found you:)
-do a load of laundry, sounds weird but it makes me feel productive and less stressed
-empty the dishwasher, another strange thing that calms me
-sit in the rocking chair in my youngest's room, I just love the colors in there

Ok, that's enough-I'm going to write these down and keep them with me.

Thanks for this idea!

Thanks for having me. Ive rambled enough about MY LIST but, as always, a few moments of silence is right up at the top.

I love this idea. On my list would be:
-giving myself a manicure
-a massage
-shopping (even just window shopping)
-indulging in a good book
-taking a nap (my all-time favorite, because you can't eat and sleep at the same time!)
-dressing in my cutest clothes (since I usually can't overeat if I am in them!)
-Drinking a tall glass of ice water while watching The Biggest Loser
-Going to Yoga or Pilates (or for a run!) with a friend
