Dear Self,
Holiday candy that is 75% off is still candy.
You do not need to buy it just because it is cheap!
The chances of you keeping it in your freezer for those impromptu baking needs are zero to none.
You are going to go home, open a bag, and end up eating most (if not all) of it.
So please dear self, just walk away from that display.
Saving a buck is not worth the thousands of calories you will end up consuming.
Thanks!
And Self, have you been active today?
I hope so!

Throw all that crap away!
I am on a 4-5 time 90 minute full body, burn workout each week. It make me ravenous so tons of water is my best friend!
lol. i just tell myself that the $1 savings on the candy will end up costing me at least $12 for an extra week of weight watchers! agh.
oh and i did an hour of step and an hour of body pump today!

Natalie-very good point!
and I went to a Body Pump class today and now I can no longer raise my arms above my head! You are awesome for doing both classes!
I’m a slave to sales and just heard a good bit of advice: Would you still buy it if it weren’t on sale? If answer is no, then don’t! I’m going to be doing a little fitness yoga later this morning…

I’m such a sucker for sales, especially once they pass the 50% off point. The trick is to not stop and think. Run past the display, run away! Speaking of running, that’s what I plan to do today.

I can resist “cheap” but am helpless against free.
I never met a free sample I wouldn’t eat, dang it!

I’m slow moving. But I wanted to tell you that I have been looking at the labels since you mentioned it in the Dr. Oz post. Everything I have is “Enriched” lol – I can’t believe it!

You make me laugh, because I was telling myself the same thing yesterday.
I was saving some coupons, and I usually only keep the ones for stuff I already buy. But, I found my self keeping ones for sweet stuff, because I refuse to pay full price for something that isn’t good for me. Then I thought…if it isn’t good for me, I really shouldn’t buy it at all.
Oh! Good news! I got the jeans today, and showed them off in some new photos =)
Thanks, again!

Good note! I’m pretty good with not buying that stuff. It’s more the cookie or muffin that I see at a bakery that tempts me…

We all need a note like that for something, don’t we?! Too funny. I’ve got a big ol’ bag of peanut M&M’s my father gave me and the kids during Christmas. I refuse to open it because I don’t want to fall to temptation. Smiles.
