I have no rhythm, which is why I can only teach Boot Camp and Spinning classes as they require no beat. At the same time, I’ve secretly longed to be a contestant on Dancing With the Stars. (yes, I want to dance the Salsa and Samba!)
So I was so excited when the Core Rhythms Dance Exercise Program showed up at my door! I was going to whittle my waist while learning how to do the Merengue!
Thankfully I did this in the privacy of my own home because it was not pretty. Even my 3 year old was giggling at the sight of me doing these moves. It was not because of a lack of instruction though. Dance champions Jaana Kunitz and Julia Powers are fantastic! They teach you the moves, they wow you with their sculpted (and tan) abs and they cheer you right along.
I just have NO rhythm. (remember the movie “The Jerk”? Yes, that is me!)
It doesn’t matter though because I still got a great workout that was a lot of fun! I was sweating up a storm and definitely felt the burn in my rhythm-less abs. The Core Rhythms Dance Exercise Program Starter pack comes with 4 DVDS and a 7-day diet guide with menu plans.

I would love to win these! It’s cold and flu season…which means if my kids are sick, I can’t drop them at the gym childcare

Lol – I know I’m got rhythm but I’ve taken a hiphop class at the gym that made me know what it feels like to not be able to move with the music or the instructor! I have never been able to exercise at home – I’m strictly a gym rat, but with all these snow storms I must admit to thinking about trying to do some home workouts – this would probably be a great introduction.

I’m a SAHM to an active child w/disabilities (incl. autism). Hubs is in nursing school so I don’t get much time to myself. If I’m lucky, I can get to the gym 2 times a week. SOOO not enough to take off the 75+ pounds I’ve put on since my son was born. I used to love to dance and would totally love these! Pleeeeeez pick me!

I heard Zumba is a good salsa & mamba grooving aerobic workout. They have classes at most major gyms. The DVD’s are hilarious because their dubbed into English, which makes it even more fun =)

I also was born without the rhythm gene. If I dance, it must be at home, with husband, children and dog safely ensconced upstairs, out of reach of my wildly flailing limbs and painful-to-watch attempts at dancing.
It is definitely not to be seen in public. And probably a public safety issue, as well.
Oh my gosh, this would be the most FUN (if you can keep a beat…hahah…my husband can’t either) workout ever! I love to dance whenever possible!!!

I would love to win the videos. I am a homeschooling mom of seven children, with the oldest being nine. I don’t get an opportunity to go to the gym and I have yet to loose the extra weight from baby number seven, or the twins before her. The baby is almost four months old and I am ready to get back in shape. I am determined to regain my health and energy. It would be a great incentive to have a fun DVD set to motivate me to exercise.
