The Vita-Mix Blender is the MOST AMAZING blender! It makes it so easy to eat healthy and gives me no more excuses!
It can:
1. Juice Whole Foods in 60 Seconds
2. Cook Soup to Steaming in 4 Minutes
3. Make Frozen Treats in 30 Seconds
4. Grind Grain and Knead Dough in one 5 Minute Operation
Can you say this about YOUR blender? This amazing machine makes my beloved Magic Bullet almost obsolete! There are no attachments, it is so simple to clean, and the container is even BPA-Free!
I have loaded my fridge with fruits and veggies and I am going to make at least one of the fantastic recipes every single day. (It comes with an entire book of them!).
And the best news? I have one to give away to a reader!
To enter, please visit Vita-Mix’s website and tell me which one of the green smoothies you would make if you win. The contest is open to US addresses only and the winner will be chosen at random on Sunday, January 11th at 9pm.
So gang, what should I make first?

I’d make the Montel’s Green Smoothie it sounds delish!!! bananas, oranges, lettuce…mmmmm mmmmm

Love Vitamix!
I’d go for the Emerald Smoothie. I might substitute strawberries for the pineapple. I love strawberry and spinach smoothies. My brain injured son votes for the pear and kale one, though.

I would have to go for the Kale and Pear smoothie. I have a genetic heart disease that I am fighting, and this smoothie sounds like it would be right up my alley for the fight. I’m also working on getting hubby on the same page as I am in raw foods. I might be able to sneak in the kale with this smoothie.

I already own a VitaMix, so I’m not writing to enter. But I’m about to go make my standard green smoothie:
3 cups water
2 giant handfuls spinach
2 or 3 Dino kale leaves
2 slices lemon
3 cups mixed frozen fruit (Costco sells a mix of pineapple, strawberry, mango, and papaya)
My husband and I split a blenderful every morning and it’s delish!

Anyway, I would try Montel’s green smoothie. I think the romaine lettuce would blend nicely with the banana and orange.

I was SO excited to see this giveaway today. Parker is fed via a g-tube and this vita mix blender would be PERFECT for making his meals g-tube friendly. I’d LOVE to be able to use fresh ingredients for his tummy.
I’d also love it for myself. I could use the extra hit of nutrition and energy this blender would provide.
Such a great giveaway.
I think Montel’s smoothie would taste great, but my favorite I bet would be the pear and kale.

Vitamix, I think I love you. I mean, I haven’t met you yet, but… I think we could really get along.
I think I’d have to ease into it, Kale may be a bit much for the first go. But I think I could drink a cucumber/tomato/cilantro concoction on a daily basis…
Loving your blog…. very inspiring.
