Skip the malls, hit the streets instead

by workoutmommy on November 28, 2008

Getting up early to go shopping? How about skipping the bargains and getting some early morning exercise instead?

You’ll feel better, you’ll have more energy, and you’ll save money too!

I plan on doing a kettlebell workout with Iron Core Way Volume 2, what is your plan?
No excuses!

I’m off to do some pilates and take a walk this morning! It’s quiet here still…so I will enjoy myself.

Another good way to save money is to lose your wallet. I’ve found it to be quite effective.

(I’m kind of glad we don’t have the whole crazed-shopping thing the day after Thanksgiving in Canada… when the malls are packed its just not fun to shop!)

I’m going to pop in my “Get Ripped 1,000″ DVD. Then I’ll give the kids a bath, and maybe take them to the botanical garden, or someplace that isn’t teeming with humanity trying to go over its credit limit.

MizFit, can you get the throng to go see a movie (or 6) While you stay home and relax? How about a museum, or aquarium? You poor thing!

I went to a spin class this morning. Now we’re heading off to Thanksgiving part II!

I actually have a harder time motivating to go shopping than to exercise. (Which is saying a LOT about how much I don’t like shopping).

So I’d never think of venturing out on the Fri after T-day. My goal is to find as many things on-line as possible. Hooray for UPS and Fed Ex and USPS, my heroes!

Boo for skipping the bargains ;-) and Yay for the Kettlebell (which by the way, I guess you want yours back sometime this century), hehe.
