Open up your refrigerator and list the first five items you see.
I’ll go first:
- milk
- yogurt
- Diet Pepsi
- turkey breast
- shredded cheese
Where are the fruits and vegetables? Hidden in the drawers, usually going unnoticed and often uneaten. I need to move all the healthy stuff to the front so I have no excuse not to eat them.
How about you? Do you keep your fruits and vegetables front and center?

This made me get up from my computer at 1:17 AM MST!! LOL. The 1st 5 things I saw where: silk soy milk, pears, raw chicken breast, eggs, and Folgers cinammon swirl coffee (hubby’s, not mine). I actually keep my veggies way down at the bottom in non-see through drawers. Hmmmm… not good.
Great website!

for some reason IM NOT A DRAWER USER!
all my stuff is front and center.
Hmmm… I’ve got milk, bagged spinach, new potatoes, grapefruit, fennel and yogurt. And the produce is out front and center because the crisper drawers are fullfullfull (just picked up our CSA box two days ago!). I don’t know, I keep my fruits and veg in the crisper and we manage to eat them all…

Milk, yogurt, eggs, juice and cheese…I can see the fruits and veggies if I squint!
I try to put the fruits and veggies front and center in the fridge – otherwise I forget about them and they go bad! We also keep a bowl of fruit in the middle of our kitchen counter so we always see it and eat it – it really works!
We kkep our fruit and vegetables in the salad box but also store onions and potatoes in the garage as I have an allotment and grow my own vegetables. We don’t like waste and eat all our fruit and vegetables before they go off.

I have some fruit and tomatoes on my counter, so I see those a lot, but in the fridge I see: OJ, light soymilk, leftover whole-wheat pumpkin pancakes (made those last night), beer and greek yogurt. Quick the mix, eh?

Lots of homemade soup, skim milk, apples, spinach, leftover pasta…
my fridge is always REALLY stocked. I like variety.
I use the drawers but if I see that something isn’t getting eaten, I put it on the top shelf and within a day its gone. Such a simple trick!

The other day I bought a bunch of prepared veggies from the salad bar at Whole Foods and placed ‘em front-n-center in the fridge. I use them in salads and as side dishes. I got the idea from my sister-in-law, and it’s YUMMY!
You don’t want to know what you’ll see in my fridge
I can’t seem to get rid of this sweet tooth since the babies been born…help. But I do have lots of fresh fruits in there and on the counter (in a drawer, ha).
I usually keep my fruits and vegetables in the drawer, which most of the time will be forgotten. And by the time I do remember that I have them, it’s usually too late! Hehehe…
Either I need to remind myself to eat my fruits daily or I should just stop using the drawers…
