Did you know that Emerald Nuts sells dark chocolate covered almonds? They are delicious!
The Mayo Clinic has listed almonds as one of the ‘10 great health foods for eating well’. Like all nuts, almonds provide one of the best plant sources of protein.
They are also heart-healthy since most of the fat in almonds is monounsaturated fat. Other important facts about almonds:
- they have more calcium than any other nut
- are a great source of protein
- one serving provides more than half of your recommended daily allowance of Vitamin E
and now, thanks to Emerald Nuts, you can have your nuts and chocolate too.
Try them out gang and let me know what you think!

After the SLC 1/2 they had these in their food area and oh my! They are seriously soooo good- like I had to save some (it was hard!) to share with my mom because I knew she would love them too. I love almonds and am particular about the chocolate I like and these were perfect.

We use almond butter instead of peanut butter for sandwiches (on wheat bread, of course).
I assume the chocolate on the Emerald Nuts is good for you too.
