Here is a must have tee shirt for all of the running mommies out there.

Run U Mother was born when two friends went to cheer on their friend Nancy in the Marine Corps Marathon. “Go Nancy” just didn’t sound as exciting as “Run U Mother” –which I’d have to agree! They created their company,For U Mothers, and have been on the ground running ever since.

Please visit their website for tee shirts, tanks, and hats. Would you like to win an awesome “Run U Mother” tank top (size medium)? Leave a comment with a funny or inspirational sign or slogan you have seen at a race or event. (or make up your own!)

The contest will close at 8pm EST on Saturday, May 3rd and the winner will be chosen at random. The contest is open to US addresses only.

Now gang, this mother is off to run. Have you been active today?

**Congratulations to #14, BK** Thanks to all who entered!

I have a Run you Mother magnet on my car- I get lots of comments on it!

Rachel- I am on the See Mommy Run Race team- are you?

Slogans- I saw a ton ton ton of funny ones at Disney- Sharpies (the marker people) had them all along the route.

One I saw at a race that made me laugh said
“First or last- you are making me look lazy as sh$t’

Cute!! My fave t-shirt was a pic of a running lady stick figure trailed by a bunchy of child stick figures. It was captioned “Why I run.” I think it was meant to say the woman runs to be healthy for her kids. But I took it to mean she runs to get away from her kids. Which, you know, I’m all about;)

I don’t have any funny slogans… but one of the best running things I’ve seen if the comic where the bear is chasing two men. The one is the front says, “I don’t have to outrun the bear, just the other guy,” or something along those lines. It made me laugh.

I am an aspiring runner, and have only been in one race. I don’t remember any funny running slogans from it. It was the Komen Race for the Cure; there was a super funny hat someone made out of a bra. :)

I definitely run to get away from my kids!

I was a member of my college’s science club and we had T-shirts that state on the back, “If you see me running, try to catch up!” I have NO idea why it said that but it’s since become one of the T-shirts I like to wear when I’m running because it freaking says that so I GOTTA run and not walk. Would love this Tank!!!

I love their slogan and have seen it here and there. My husband thinks it is hilarious. One that I have seen before and that I think of often, “Why walk when you can run?”

Love everyone’s comments. This is a great competition!

I saw a great one the other day that was, ‘run like you stole something’ and another, ‘trample the weak, hurdle the dead’.

Violent, yes. But I laughed, I admit.
