It is finally spring in my neck of the woods which means I can put away the winter running gear and start enjoying my new warm weather clothing!
I got a GymGirl Ultra running skirt from SkirtSports a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to take it out for a run this weekend. It is definitely a great addition to my running wardrobe because not only does it look nice, but it is very comfortable too. The built in shorties are great because they keep everything in place without feeling constricted.
Here are some more details from their website:

If you are looking for some stylish workout clothing, I definitely recommend a new running skirt from SkirtSports. Stephanie over at Metropolitan Mama wore one in her most recent 5k, go check out her picture because she looks awesome!
Now, have YOU been active today? Tell me all about it!

I’m not convinced on this whole workout skirt thing. I think I’ll have to try one though, since everyone seems to rave about them.
And, I have been active: I worked out this morning. I usually try to do it before the girls get up but my little one got up twice (ugh!) last night…so I came home and worked out after I dropped them off at school. I actually did some interval training on my elliptical which was *hard* but felt great when I was done!

slacker-great job with the interval training
charlotte- You mean the 20 million stretch mark creams on the market don’t work?

I’m still skeptical on the running skirt attire…
I think I would feel compelled to go play a tennis match instead!

I seriously love my running skirts - I have one my SkirtSports and one by Addidas. They both have built-in shorts that seem short but when I wear them they actually cover more of my thigh than little running shorts. The main thing is, they make me feel so darm cute and sassy that I want to run longer and more often when I wear them. So they’re like little feminine sporty motivational tools for me!

I love my running skirts! I have 2 by runningskirts.com. They make me feel like a girly-girl even when I’m super sweaty!! I think they are flattering than most shorts!!!
