I always run with music - I'm like the opposite of you, Workout Mommy! - and would love to hear the miles rattle off. So motivating! I already ate one half of a Cadbury egg!??? We split it each family member got one half. Also, this morning I caught my youngest with a WHOLE egg in his mouth..leaking out the sides! Quite funny really except he didn't take a nap the whole day. I did some research and you can purchase a replacement sensor for $19 and you can extend the life of the battery by only using the shoes you use the sensor on for exercising. I have a designated pair of running shoes for running/walking/training so I think it would last me longer. Also, you do not have to purchase the Nike shoes....you can buy a pouch to hold the sensor for $6. I tend to run pre-set routes where I already know how long the distance is, but I'm definitely not calculating my run-time or anything like that.
