Accountability. That is the only thing that got me up and running yesterday morning. (well, that and the fact that I knew I would be kid-free for several hours!)

I woke up to rain, wind, and COLD, which is not my idea of fun when faced with running a ten miler. I had to do it though. Not only was it in my planner, I had blogged about it! I couldn’t sit here and tell you not to cancel your exercise appointment and then cancel my own! So thank you to everyone who is reading this because you are keeping me honest and on track with my fitness plans.

So how did it go? Well, I am happy to report that I finished. It wasn’t my best finishing time, but considering my constant sleep deprivation (courtesy of my little one), I think I did pretty well!

I conquered 10 hilly miles on a cold, rainy, and windy Sunday morning. I feel pretty darn proud of myself!

Next up….a half-marathon in a month!

How about you, what is on your fitness calendar this spring?
